Whitney Elizabeth Houston is a performer who was born in Newark New Jersey on the 9th August, 1963. The parents of her are gospel stars Cissy Houston(n e Emily Lee Drinkard) and John Russell Houston Jr. Whitney's cousin Dionne warwick is also a singer. Her mother and she began singing professionally at New Hope Baptist Church of Newark at the age of 15 years old. The two sang backing vocals in Chaka Khans 1978 track Im Every Woman. Her mother, Jermaine, and Lou Rawls were some of the artists she backed up. The singer was also as a model for Seventeen magazine in the year 1981. The singer began her career as a lead vocalist with the New York-based funk band Material as well. It was her quality of her work as a vocalist together that brought the attention of major record companies, such as Arista with whom she signed in 1983. This is where she would remain for the remainder the duration of her career. Whitney Houston was her debut album. Dana Bash, also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz, is an American anchorwoman and journalist who is a correspondent for politics at CNN. She has been the producer of shows on CNN, including Evans & Novak' Late Editionand Inside Politics'. Bash is the recipient of numerous awards and honors. Elle magazine once listed her in the Women in Washington Power List. Many young journalists admire her for having incredible reporting/anchoring abilities. She is a George Washington University grad is the most loving mom to her one child. The couple has had two marriages and is currently a single. Bash is an independent, strong woman.
