Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston was conceived into a musical family, 9 August 1993 in Newark New Jersey. Whitney is a cousin and daughter to the singing sensation Dionne. As a child she was a singer in the New Hope Baptist Church choir in Newark. By the time she reached the age of 15years old, Houston was singing professionally as a backing vocalist with her mother on Chaka Khan's hit song in 1978 Im Every Woman. After that, she began to perform backing vocals for Jermaine, Lou Rawls, as well as her mom. It sold over 44 million copies worldwide. The same year, she married Bobby Brown who was a previous New Edition singer. She had their only daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown. They were married in March 1993. At this point that her widely documented substance abuse began. By 1996, she was a regular addict.

Dana Bash, also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz, is an American anchorwoman and journalist. She works as a political correspondent for CNN. Her prior work has included NBC, CBS and other prestigious channels. She also produces certain shows on CNN's weekends including Evans & Novak Late Edition as well as Inside Politics.
