Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston was conceived into a musical family, 9 August 1993 in Newark New Jersey. Whitney is a cousin and daughter to the singing sensation Dionne. As a child she was a singer in the New Hope Baptist Church choir in Newark. By the time she reached the age of 15years old, Houston was singing professionally as a backing vocalist with her mother on Chaka Khan's hit song in 1978 Im Every Woman. After that, she began to perform backing vocals for Jermaine, Lou Rawls, as well as her mom. The high quality of her performance as the lead vocalist in New York funk group Material was noticed by major record companies including Arista, with which she signed her contract in 1982, where she stayed the rest of her career. Whitney Houston, her debut album that debuted in 1985 was the highest-selling album for the debut artist. Several hit singles including The Greatest Love of All, Saving My Love For You How Do I know That You Love Me as well as The Greatest Love of All were released from the album setting her up to smash the Beatles record with seven consecutive US top 10s. The album came out in 1987 and has sold more than 25 million copies around the world. The follow-up album released in 1987 Whitney featuring the hit songs What Do Broken Hearts Go and I Wanna Dance With Somebody built upon her successes, but it was the 1992 film The Bodyguard (1992) that made her one of the most successful artists in history. Although the film and the actor's performance weren't much praised, her soundtrack album with her version of Dolly Parton's I Will Always Love You was her top album and single for a number of months. It sold over 44 million copies worldwide. The same year, she married Bobby Brown who was a previous New Edition singer. She had their only daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown. They were married in March 1993. At this point that her widely documented substance abuse began. By 1996, she was a regular addict.

Dana Bash, also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz, is an American anchorwoman and journalist. She works as a political correspondent for CNN. Her prior work has included NBC, CBS and other prestigious channels. She also produces certain shows on CNN's weekends including Evans & Novak Late Edition as well as Inside Politics. Bash received a Women in Washington Power List prize by Elle magazine. She is highly respected for her incredible abilities as a reporter/an anchor. Her only child is her pride and joy in life. The couple has had two marriages and is currently single. Bash loves all her fans.
