Randy Gene Moss was born February 13, 1977. He is an American footballer. He was a player in the National Football League (NFL) for 14 years with the Minnesota Vikings, Oakland Raiders, New England Patriots, Tennessee Titans, and the San Francisco 49ers. He is widely acknowledged as Jerry Rice's greatest wide receiver. He holds the NFL single-season record for touchdown receptions of 23 in 2007. the NFL rookie single-season touchdown records (17 in 1998) and is ranked second on the NFL's all-time regular-season touchdown receptions list, with 156. Moss was well-known for his skill at securing contested catch and "mossed" is now a term used in football.
